Position description: Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food orders per recipe guidelines. Cooks prepare batters, meat dishes and vegetables. Cooks provide back up to the line during busy hours, including restocking and maintaining workstations to assure plenty of product is always available. Cooks clean all workstations at the end of the day, sweeping and mopping of floors.

Additional Description: The cook must learn to prepare all foods for each day of operation. No prior experience is necessary so we can train how to prepare sandwiches or other items on the menu. The cook must know how to open and close the grill which includes cleaning the grill and the fryer and the sandwich prep unit, along with mopping the floor of the grill area.

In the area: Beach Haven is on an 18-mile (24 Kilometer) long resort island in New Jersey. You will be one hour away from Atlantic City, one and a half hours from Philadelphia, and two hours from New York City. We offer a night to the employees to get together for a slide night and also to participate in the festivities of the July 4th holiday (Independence day) There are many water activities, such as sailing and swimming, surfing, in the area. Many families come to Long Beach Island to vacation for the summer and there are many stores, pubs, cinemas, and things to do. Have a great summer!
