Position description: Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning rooms, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry. This position can be physically demanding and you may be required to use chemical cleaning products.

Additional description: Housekeeping includes cleaning hotel rooms and public areas. Entering and stripping beds, taking dirty laundry to housekeeping. Cleaning, dusting and polishing all surfaces, remaking beds with clean linens, cleaning fridges and microwaves, Cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and replacing amenities. Cleaning hallways and public areas. Helping with breakfast service or breakfast buffet breakdown. Helping with laundry.  We have a fun a varied work day and often work in team too.  We have work parties and often after work socials. We are walking distance to many businesses and stores so it's easy for students if they want to get a second job

In the area: We are just over a mile to the Wells beach for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. We provide bikes for the students to use to get around. There are local parades, and all types of summer events students can attend. American culture would include July 4th Hotdog and BBQ parties at lodgings. Cultural events at the Waterhouse Center in Kennebunk like the Portland Philharmonic Orchestra. Also museums in the area and live music. Theatre in Ogunquit, Farmers Markets, car shows and craft fairs.

Provided by Host: We have regular pizza parties. We do traditional July 4th celebration cook out with hot dogs and burgers., then trip to see fireworks. We do our mid summer celebration with Lobster rolls. Trips to local stores. Birthday parties. Outlet Shopping trips. We can give students 2-3 days off in a row to do cultural train trips to Portland or Boston or NYC Staff get discounted Hilton Hotel rates so can enjoy mini trips to other cities like Portland, Boston or NYC during the spring/summer or after completion of their contract with us.
