Position description: Grocery Clerks are responsible for unloading the grocery truck, parceling out the groceries to the shelves, leveling the grocery shelves and checking for date rotation, putting later expiration dates in the back and closer expiration dates in the front of shelves. You may have to perform these duties for both regular as well as frozen/dairy groceries.

In the area: Our area is beautiful with many outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, jeeping, and ATV riding. Winter months skiing, sledding, and ice skating. We are located in a small town in the mountains where 1000 tourists are brought on a historic train ride daily May -October . There are many tourists coming to hike, bike , jeep , fish, Camp, and ATV. Students will be able to converse with people from all over the country. Students will work in a small grocery and learn many traits of American Groceries, and needs. Winter month are very quiet. The ski season starts in late December and ends mid April. 

Provided by Host: At the end of our season we try to take our student workers to a tourist attraction in our area. This past year we went our neighboring town, Ouray Colorado to the Box Canon Falls park and the Ouray Hot springs. Winter months we have gone slay riding.
