Position description: Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food orders per recipe guidelines. Cooks prepare batters, meat dishes and vegetables. Cooks provide back up to the line during busy hours, including restocking and maintaining workstations to assure plenty of product is always available. Cooks clean all workstations at the end of the day, sweeping and mopping of floors.

Additional description: Our cooks help to set up, stock, break down and clean the kitchen line each shift. They are also the ones preparing the meals as orders are rung in. This job does NOT require any previous cooking experience or technical skills. We have three stations on the line: pantry (which handles grilled and fried items, along with salads), taco (which handles building the tacos and cooking off seafood and other meats) and grill (which handles quesadillas, burritos and cooked proteins). The cooks are mostly reheating and assembling foods prepared by the prep crew earlier in the day or during another shift. The job is fast paced but rewarding and time flies by! Cooks also help with dishes, sweeping and scrubbing at the end of the shift. Cooks are also eligible for catering shifts if they prove to have the work ethic required to work the food truck events as well.

In the area: There are vast amounts of recreational and cultural opportunities in our immediate area. We are located very close to Dartmouth College. There, you can find local and international students enjoying campus life and the vibrant town of Hanover, NH. We are near rivers to swim and float in, we have easy access to various trail networks for mountain biking and hiking, we are close to the famous town of Woodstock, VT which provides additional dining options, shopping and a festive community for locals and tourists alike. We also have easy access to major shopping so groceries and any other supplies are easily accessible. Within a two hour bus ride or train, you can reach Boston, MA or Burlington, VT for bigger city adventures. Boston is a 2.5 hour bus ride away (direct bus that picks up about 10 minutes away from the housing) and that same bus company also operates a busy to New York! Our staff is made up of many young, energetic locals who would be excited to share their culture and some adventures with any international employees that would like to come be a part of our team for the summer!
