Position description: Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food orders per recipe guidelines. Cooks prepare batters, meat dishes and vegetables. Cooks provide back up to the line during busy hours, including restocking and maintaining workstations to assure plenty of product is always available. Cooks clean all workstations at the end of the day, sweeping and mopping of floors.

In the area: Many summertime festivals like Cherry Festival, music festivals along with a tremendous number of summer activities - outside activities like hiking, kayaking, climbing, running, volleyball, frisbee, golf. It's truly wonderful here in the summer and so much to do. In terms of culture, there are opportunities to learn about the region at our museums, Native American cultural centers and other cultural centers.

Provided by Host: We have a variety of beautiful state and natural parks in the area and will schedule visits with visiting students. There will be opportunities to learn about the Native American culture and history in the area as well as the founding of Traverse City and the surrounding area. We have minor league baseballs teams in the area and will take the team to games - as well as exposure to other great summertime activities in the area like kayaking, tubing, volleyball, beach days and more. Our sister business is a 35,000 sq ft entertainment center with bowling, arcade, laser tag, escape rooms and more - and team member will be able to play out there for free as a benefit.
