Position description: Cashiers are responsible for displaying a professional, pleasant attitude to all customers. Cashiers scan customers selected items for purchase, provide purchase transactions, and ensure proper handling of American currency, debit and credit card purchases. This position requires excellent skills in English. This position will provide the opportunity to work directly with the public and gain skills in American customer service. Students may be expected to work in other areas of the store as directed by management.

Additional description: Provide Customer Service by assisting guests with food, and all retail duties. Collect payment for services and supplies.

In the area: Timberline Lodge is a National Historic Monument, Hotel, Ski Area, Museum and one of the most visited tourist attraction in Oregon - located on the south face of Mount Hood. We have company events throughout the summer - plus we arrange at least on trip into Portland (our nearest city) to spend the day and in the evening attend a sporting event. They also have access to various festivals held during the summer.

Provided by Host: Various sporting events, festivals, day trip destinations and a "Cultural Day". In May we have a company bowling party at a local bowling alley. In August there is a company wide picnic as well.
