Position description: Hosts/hostesses are responsible for helping customers, seating them, taking their orders, using a cash register, and keeping the host station clean. You should also be prepared to help out where needed and in general help keep the restaurant clean and running smoothly.

Additional description: Hello!  We are so excited to offer you the position as hostess next summer at The Gem.  Please check out our social media pages to see if this situation looks for you.  Bolton landing is 3/4 hours north of New York City in a small mountain town that get very very busy in the summer.  You will be interacting directly with guests for the entire shift.

In the area: There is so much to do in Bolton, Hiking, fishing, swimming. We will help students find resources for what they would like to participate in.

Provided by Host: We will be providing students with an education on local wine for those that are of age. We will be providing transportation to Six flags theme park 2x throughout the summer We take the students rafting and hiking.
